WebUtilities provides 851 web utilities including image compressors, PDF assemblers, OCR scanners, text cleaners, and cryptographic hash generators. None of your uploaded files, photos, PDF documents, or typed text are ever uploaded to any web server or cloud infrastructure. All computation takes place strictly on your local device within your browser sandbox.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect or store the contents of any files uploaded to our tools.
- We do not require user accounts, passwords, or personal login information.
- We do not employ invasive cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Local Storage (localStorage)
WebUtilities uses browser localStorage solely to remember your preferred visual theme (Light Mode or Dark Mode) across page reloads under the key webutilities-theme. This data never leaves your browser.
4. Hosting Logs
Like all websites hosted on static delivery networks (such as GitHub Pages, Cloudflare, Netlify, or Apache/Nginx), basic HTTP network requests (such as your IP address and requested static asset URLs) may be recorded in temporary server access logs by the hosting provider for security and bandwidth analytics.
5. Advertising and Third Parties
WebUtilities contains pre-configured, non-intrusive advertising placeholders that are disabled by default. If enabled in the future by the site owner, any ad delivery will adhere to applicable regional regulations and Google Publisher consent frameworks.
